Northern Skies

clouds of gray fill up the sky
a winter's chill blow by and by
a distant song, a lullaby
fills the air of northern skies

a rhythmic clashing on the roof
a thunder's gong like a thousand hoofs
a distant cry of a timber wolf
reverberated on the mountain's turf

the humming of a lady in white
a sweet siren in the moonlit night
floating in the ether, with light
blinding my vision and my sight

the sweet aroma of ambrosia
a gentle touch of grand Bologna
the lushness of choice magnolia
even the gods would leave Olympia

mountain peaks like diamond tops
sparkle like a crystal sap
beautiful as the rainbow cup
reflected on the rain drops

welcome to the northern skies
where all you see is but a smile
and luster and beauty also thrives
where one dreams and fantasies.

You are an amazing poet! Really you are! Because your work is unconventional! :)
