Let Me Be

sing to me your song
whisper it to my ears
wrap your arms around me
and lull me to my dreams

pour your heart out
shed those precious tears
cry it out loud
‘till the golden sun appears

let me be your strength
when everything is fear
your silence in the night
when its noises you hear

let me be your aurora
in the dark northern skies
lets drift from reality
and to our dreams we fly

let me be your warmth
in the cold morning dew
your cashmere, silk or velvet
a comfort you can drew.

let me be your coffin
to hug you when you die
let me be your “I love you”
when everything is “goodbye.”

PS. can't believe i've finished writing these after a few minutes of a rough day.

Wow. You are a great poet!!!

This is my favorite part...

let me be your strength
when everything is fear
your silence in the night
when its noises you hear

...I have someone like that. :)
